Privacy policy

Plain language, short, and specific to how Good First Visit works.

Last updated November 2, 2026

The short version

  • This website has no forms, ads or tracking.
  • When you book a call or email us, we collect only what you choose to share, like your name, email and practice details.
  • We never ask for patient information through this website, the booking page or email.
  • We don’t sell your information.

Who we are

Good First Visit (“we”, “us”) is an independent UX and service design service for healthcare practices. This policy covers goodfirstvisit.com, our booking page and email. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you book a call. Our booking page is run by Cal.com. It asks for your name and email, plus any details you choose to add. Cal.com also records the time and time zone you pick.

When you email us. Your email address and whatever you include in your message.

When you visit this website. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The site saves one small setting in your browser so the logo animation only plays on your first visit. It contains no personal information.

What we never collect here

Please don’t send us patient names, health details or records through this website, the booking page or email.

What a standard audit involves

A standard audit is a remote assessment. It doesn’t require access to patient records, your EHR or other practice systems, and it doesn’t involve observing treatments or monitoring real patients. We work from your public website, test scenarios agreed with you in advance and materials you choose to share.

How we use it

  • To schedule and hold calls, and send confirmations and reminders
  • To reply to your questions and send proposals you ask for
  • To deliver work you hire us for, under a separate agreement
  • To keep basic business records, as required by law

We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Cal.com, for scheduling
  • Our email provider, for email
  • Our video call provider, for calls
  • Cloudflare, for hosting this website

Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and email records for as long as we need them to work with you, and for up to 3 years afterwards for our business records, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under state law, and we’ll honor them.

Security

We use reputable providers, strong passwords and two step sign in on our accounts. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details out of email.

Children

This website is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy
